This office does not perform criminal record checks. Please contact the Maryland State Police Headquarters at 1-888-795-0011.
To request an Expungement, you must:
- Complete the Petition for Expungement and the General Waiver and Release, if necessary.
- File the Petition and required copies.
- Pay the filing fees.

The search is available on the Maryland Judiciary Web site (http://mdcourts.gov) The records maintained by the Office of the Clerk of Court are available to the public for review. However, the records of juvenile or adoption cases may be restricted.
