Hours of Operation
The office of the Clerk of Circuit Court is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for both counter and phone information.  In addition, staff is generally available for phone inquiries Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Forms of Payment
Cash, check or money order are the only acceptable forms of payment.  We do not accept credit/debit cards.  Marriage Licenses and Marriage Ceremonies are cash only.

Obtaining a Passport
As of May 1, 2003, the Circuit Court for Calvert County no longer processes passport applications in Calvert County.  You may try contacting either the Prince Frederick or Dunkirk Post Offices for information regarding obtaining a Passport.  Applications can be downloaded from the U.S. State Department's website.
