Criminal Records are open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you wish to access records from the Clerk's Office file rooms, you must arrive at the file rooms by 4:15 p.m. as the Clerk's Office and the Courthouse close promptly at 4:30 p.m.

Dispositions cannot be be disclosed over the phone.

The Clerk’s Office only accepts cash, checks, money orders or credit cards (Visa or Mastercard) for payment of Court Costs. To use a credit card you must present identification that matches the name on your credit card.

How do I get a copy of a transcript, and what does it cost?

How do I request an interpreter?

How can I find out what cases are to be heard at the Court House the next day?
Dockets are posted each weekday afternoon between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., and list the cases to be heard in the Howard County Circuit Court during the following court day. Please see Dockets.

How do I request a postponement of my hearing?

How do I request an expungement of my record?
Expungement is the removal of records from public inspection. See Expungement.

The records maintained by the Office of the Clerk of Court are available to the public for review. However, the records of juvenile or adoption cases may be restricted.
