Scott MacGlashan, Clerk of the Circuit Court
Scott MacGlashan was first elected Clerk of the Circuit Court for Queen Anne’s County in 1994.
He has served on the Reference and Research Advisory Committee of the Maryland State Archives, is past chairperson of the Conference of Circuit Court Clerks advising the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals, and has served as president of the Maryland State Clerks’ Association. He currently serves on the Judiciary's Technology Oversight Board, chaired by the Chief Judge. He has served on several local boards, including the Queen Anne’s County Historical Society.
MacGlashan is a lifelong resident of Queen Anne’s County. He and his wife, Carolyn, have three sons and live on their family farm near Church Hill. He was involved in their family agribusiness for over 28 years and continues to be involved in their family farming operation. He is a licensed private pilot and is interested in antique cars and bluegrass music.
