Jury Service is an important aspect of the rights, privileges and freedoms we all enjoy in the Nation; your service is greatly appreciated by the Court.

There is one Grand Jury Term in Talbot County which begins on the first Monday of July and continues to June 30 of the following year. Although grand jurors are subject to call during the entire term, service will probably not exceed six (6) times during the entire session. Trial or Petit Jurors serve a one-month term. Trial jurors will generally appear for service less than five (5) times during their month of service.
