Becoming a Volunteer

As a District Court ADR Volunteer you will assist the Court with resolving civil cases on the day of trial. In addition, you will be eligible to attend District Court continuing ADR education classes free of charge. Your contributions are appreciated at annual District Court volunteer recognition events.

ADR Volunteers are able to earn volunteer hours, which are accrued annually and may be submitted as pro bono work. Volunteers are encouraged to participate at a minimum twice per quarter, or eight times a year.

Due to the continued enthusiasm of our volunteers and the success of our programs, we are currently at capacity with regard to the number of volunteers we can sustain at most of our locations. Our goal is to provide volunteers with enough opportunities each calendar quarter to give each of them experience to continue to develop their ADR skills. As we increase the number of volunteers, we limit the opportunities for those volunteers already on our roster.
