On Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 the Office of Fair Practices will hold a “Meet and Greet” for the Judiciary’s prime contractors and businesses who have or want to obtain certification as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) or Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). The Meet and Greet will be held from 1-4 p.m., in rooms 5 and 6 of the Judiciary Education and Conference Center, 2011-D Commerce Park Drive, Annapolis Md., 21401. This event will highlight business opportunities for MBE/DBE firms and prime contractors. Participants do not need to be MBE/DBE certified, as information on the certification process will be provided.

Prime contractors are invited to reserve a spot as an exhibitor to meet MBE/DBE firms seeking business with the Judiciary. There is no charge, and tables will be provided for exhibitors.

For minority owned businesses looking to increase Judiciary partnerships, this event is an opportunity to market businesses to some of the Judiciary’s leading contractors.
The Judiciary regularly solicits work for:

  • IT software, hardware , and consulting
  • Office furniture, equipment, and moving services
  • paper and office supplies
  • Catering
  • Promotional products

The Meet and Greet is free and open to the public, but space is limited and reservations are required.

Exhibitors and attendees must register for the event by Sept. 6.
