Congratulations on your recent appointment as a law clerk with the Maryland Judiciary.
To ensure that you are placed on payroll in a timely manner, it is necessary for you to complete the following pre-employment forms as soon as you have accepted an offer from the Judge’s chambers.
Please view the Law Clerk Information Sheet for an over view of employment conditions.
- Human Resources is required to have all original forms on file.
- For law clerks in the upcoming term, July, August or September, send the forms any time after February 1. You do not need to fax forms if you will be starting the new term and your start date is over 6 weeks away.
- For all other start dates, (throughout the year) send them as soon as possible and coordinate with your Judge’s Chambers.
