Onboarding sessions are held throughout the year for law clerks that start outside of the normal term (August – August).
These sessions are held twice a month on the Thursday following the first day of the pay period. State pay periods begin on Wednesday and run 10 business days and end on Tuesday. You may see our current payroll schedule
The sessions are held in Human Resources, Maryland Judicial Center, 580 Taylor Ave., Annapolis MD at 9:00 a.m. unless otherwise instructed. Please arrive by 8:50 so we may begin on time.
View this map as we are not physically located at our mailing address. Parking is available in the State Employees parking lot – gate 6 (if we have advance notice). All other parking lots will charge a $5.00 fee.
Following your Onboarding Session you will be directed to the Department of General Services to obtain you DGS State ID Badge. You will be provided with directions and the form during your session.
Again, if you are starting in the months of January, February, March, April, late September, October, November or December, you would schedule through your Judge’s Chambers and Human Resources for one of the monthly sessions (You do not need to complete a registration form)
