Our Mission
The mission of the Professional Development/Educational Assistance Unit is to provide learning opportunities for non-judicial employees enabling them to enhance their professional skills and develop personal attributes conducive to successful operation of the courts and encourage lifelong learning practices.

Our Vision
Our unit is recognized as the training professionals for non-judicial employees throughout the Maryland Judiciary. We accept the responsibility of continuously assessing the organization's developmental needs. Through research and training, we keep informed of the latest learning and technological advances. This enables us to develop curriculum that will improve and enhance the Judiciary’s learning environment.
