EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE AND TUITION REIMBURSEMENT

The Maryland Judiciary appreciates the importance of educated and informed
employees. The Educational Assistance/Tuition Reimbursement Program has helped
hundreds of qualified employees improve their professional skills!

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Step 1. Read the EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE/TUITION REIMBURSEMENT POLICY

Step 2: At least 15 days prior to the registration of your course, submit the following documents to the Office of Professional Development (OPD)

• The completed Application for Educational Assistance form
  Attach a copy of the course description

Step 3: After completing your course, submit the following to OPD:

• The completed Tuition Reimbursement Request form
  

• The Calculations Worksheet (MS Excel)
  

• All original receipts
  

• A copy of your signed and approved Educational Assistance form that was returned from OPD earlier
  

• A copy of your course grade

NOTE: We recommend you make a copy of all documents you submit to OPD for your records!
