For Immediate Release MARYLAND COURT OF APPEALS ISSUES
(ANNAPOLIS, MD–March 1, 2002) The Maryland Court of Appeals today issued an order (in PDF) which sets forth the schedule for hearing actions in court which challenge the Governor’s 2002 legislative redistricting plan, as well as proposed changes to residency requirements. The order addresses House Joint Resolution 3 and Senate Resolution 4, which became effective on February 22, 2002. These resolutions contain a legislative redistricting plan setting forth the boundaries of the legislative districts for the election of members of the Maryland Senate and House of Delegates in 2002. The complete schedule for the redistricting

after 4:30 p.m. today.
