Prince George’s County Circuit Court to Honor Local Veterans
(UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – April 30, 2010) The Prince George’s County Circuit Court will hold an appreciation ceremony to celebrate the county’s veterans on Thursday, May 20, at 9:30 a.m., at the Prince George’s County Courthouse, 14735 Main St., Upper Marlboro.
“We want to recognize and honor our veterans for their dedicated service to our country and our county,” said Administrative Judge William D. Missouri. The ceremony will be held in front of the newly restored historic Duvall Wing of the courthouse.
To prepare for this event, the court is calling on veterans in Prince George’s County to submit photos and information about their service to be included in a video. Photos and information may be submitted on the Prince George’s County website, by direct link, www.princegeorgescountymd.gov/Government/JudicialBranch/veteranform.asp., or by going to www.princegeorgescountymd.gov/, clicking on “Judicial Branch (County Court System)” and following the link on the bottom of the page.
