Media Advisory:
District Court to hold Schools in the Court program for Anne Arundel County students

WHO: Approximately 180 students from four high schools, including Annapolis High School, Old Mill High School, North County High School, and Indian Creek School

Anne Arundel County District Judge Shaem C.P. Spencer, presiding

WHAT: Students will learn about the legal and financial consequences of poor decisions. Students will hear presentations from people who have been involved with the legal system because of drunk driving, speeding, texting while driving, and other offenses. Students also will have an opportunity to see firsthand actual cases presented to the court and engage court personnel in question-and-answer sessions regarding the Judiciary.

WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 29, at 8:30 a.m.

WHERE: Courtroom 1, Anne Arundel County District Court, 251 Rowe Blvd., Annapolis
