Adult Treatment Court graduates honored at Circuit Court for Calvert County

On Thursday, July 25, eight graduates will celebrate their sobriety and successful completion of a court-supervised program during a graduation ceremony at the Circuit Court for Calvert County’s Adult Treatment Court.

Since the Adult Treatment Court’s inception in 2015, more than 65 individuals have graduated from the program, which focuses on assisting participants in achieving self-sufficiency and becoming responsible members of the community.

Cameras will not be allowed in the courtroom during the graduation ceremony; however, members of the media may conduct on-camera interviews in the lobby area outside of the courtroom. Judge Chandlee and the two guest speakers will be available for interviews immediately following the graduation ceremony. All persons being photographed should be asked for their consent before a picture is taken. Program participants can also be interviewed after the ceremony.
