Maryland Court of Appeals Chief Judge Mary Ellen Barbera hosted 18 high school students from Anne Arundel, Baltimore, and Howard counties who visited the Court of Appeals as a part of the General George G. Meade chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars’ (MOWW’s) one-day Law and Order Youth Leadership Conference.  MOWW is a veterans service organization that teaches high school students the importance of national security, patriotism, good citizenship, and service to country.  During the March 6 visit, Chief Judge Barbera discussed the formation of Maryland’s appellate courts and fielded questions.
