Transcripts and Courtroom Audio Recordings

Complete and submit the Transcript/Audio Request Form below to request an audio recording or written transcript. All transcript requests involving minors will require authorization by the Court which delays processing. No oral or telephone requests will be honored without delivery to the Court Technologist of the Transcript/Audio Request Form.

Written transcripts are not prepared by the Court Technologist but are sent to a court-certified Court Reporter for preparation. The Court Reporter will be provided your name and contact number.

CD/Audio Recordings

  • Audio requests must be in writing. No requests will be accepted over the telephone. A request form must be completed prior to the release of the CD/Audio. The CD/Audio will be available within 2-3 business days of receipt of payment. Please complete the Transcript/Audio Request Form below and mail or email it to the Court Technologist.
  • A fee of $25.00 per proceeding date is required. Payments may be made in the form of cash, a written check, or a money order made payable to Wicomico County.

Transcripts

  • Transcript requests must be in writing. No transcript requests will be accepted over the telephone. Please complete the Transcript/Audio Request Form listed below and mail or email it to the Court Technologist.
  • The cost for typed transcripts is based on the number of estimated pages and the requested turn-around time. After submission of the Transcript/Audio Request Form, the Court Reporter will contact you directly with an estimated cost. Payment in full (cash or money order) must be made directly to the Court Reporter before the transcript is prepared. The Court Reporter will advise where to send payment when the cost estimate is provided.
