The District Court hears landlord/tenant cases, replevin actions, traffic violations, criminal cases classified as misdemeanors and certain felonies, and civil cases in the amount of $30,000 or less. The District Court does not conduct jury trials.

From Capital Beltway (495) south to Route 4 exit (Upper Marlboro, South). Proceed on Route 4 for 35 miles to intersection of Route 2/4 and Route 231 (traffic light Prince Frederick Ford dealership on right and 7-11 Store on left). Continue 200 yards on Route 4, taking first left onto Duke Street. At stop sign on Duke Street, proceed across intersection (past MSP Barrack U) and Court is located on left in Louis Goldstein Building. Clerk's office and courtrooms are on second floor.
