Maryland Court of Appeals votes to adopt amendment to Maryland Rule 16-910

On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, during an emergency meeting, the Maryland Court of Appeals unanimously voted to adopt an amendment to restore former language to what is now called Maryland Rule 16-910. The change will allow the names of police officers to appear on CaseSearch. 
 
The Court heard testimony from eight individuals, including members of the general public, legal stakeholders, justice advocates, and journalists.
