NEW LANDLORD TENANT FORMS EFFECTIVE 10/01/2025

The court has developed two new (online only) forms as a result of HB0767, Ch. 563 from the 2025 Legislative Session, effective 10/01/2025.
- A new notice (CC-DC-CV-123) which can be used by a landlord to notify a tenant after the court has issued a warrant of restitution to repossess residential property related to the filing of an action under Real Property §§ 8-401 (failure to pay rent), 8-402 (tenant holding over), and 8-402.1 (breach of lease); and
- An affidavit (CC-DC-CV-124) which can be provided to the sheriff or constable to prove that the landlord notified the tenant of the pending eviction as required by Real Property Article § 8-407(b).
