Technology Education


To provide technology education services to all 4,300+ Judiciary employees to ensure proficiency in using all technology-based tools in order to execute Judiciary responsibilities, effectively, efficiently, and proficiently.


The Department of Technology Education provides training and follow-up support for all Judiciary employees who use custom/proprietary computer applications or commercial-off-the-shelf software and associated hardware. Training is provided on-site at courthouses and administrative locations throughout the state and at the Judicial College Education and Conference Center in Annapolis. Technology Education partners with other divisions and departments within the Administrative Office of the Courts as well as local court jurisdictions to ensure that technology education is always available and is provided seamlessly during times of technology transitions.
